1966 FORD BRONCO WAGON

I bought this 1966 U15 Bronco off of an old Craig's List ad I printed off, and had saved in a folder for future reference.  Google maps had this Bronco in Iowa, exactly 400 miles south of the Monos Broncos World Headquarters, which is currently located in the third stall of my Sartell Minnesota garage.

I paid a friend to pick this one up, and this first row of pictures is my first look at the bronco.  I often buy these bronco projects through web pictures, and seem to have a 50/50 success rate in picking out decent projects from photos.  This one is looking to be in better condition than last pair I dragged home.

The second row of pictures shows the cleanup phase.  I also bought a 1969 bronco with a fresh rebuilt 200cid engine.  The current 170 is locked solid, so an engine transplant is in the works.

The window frame and wheels were removed for sandblasting.  The window frame is looking like more work than I'd like to take on, so an updated new electric wiper frame may be on the wish list.

I've added a halfcab top, and new 215 tires on some cleaned up wheels.

Junkyard Score!  I sourced a old mustang bench seat from a bone yard, when I came across this set of 66 hubcaps.  I had just bought a set of dog dish caps, after acknowledging I'd probably never stumble across a set.
